Gabriela Frank

I go by Gabby Frank and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Art supplies are hard to come by, in spite of living near a major university, so I buy most of my materials online. I work with watercolor, ink, and markers, as well as with digital tools. When not using my iPad Pro, I predominantly use watercolors and markers. When I say markers, I refer to alcohol based markers, like Copics, Ohuhu, etc. I mainly like drawing people and creatures, but I do not like drawing landscapes at the moment. I usually gravitate towards stylized artwork, but sometimes touch upon semi realism regarding sketching and just using pens (sometimes with Copics).  I hope that my art will become more ambitious, with larger projects with finished backgrounds, and I want to have a lot of original characters under my belt. I want to have a career in art, and to have the pleasure of doing it every day.
